  • Unit 3: Crafting Language (IA2 – 25%) — 2-hour exam; writing creative/professional texts, evaluating stylistic choices, producing a commentary.
  • Topics include creative writing, text adaptation, and self‑reflection on language choices.
  • Unit 4: Investigating Language (IA2 – 25%) — 2-hour exam; independent research and applying theory to contexts.
    Choice of area: Language & Power, Language & Technology, Children’s Language Development, or Global English.
